This is my life. You might wonder I am only 13 how can I have lived a life, but yes I have
There was a happy family living in Germany, their baby boy was now two years old. Shortly after, along came another child but this time it was a girl. The couple decided to move to Egypt, were the two children were raised. They loved Egypt, and they would do anything to stay there. Everything was so close, you could walk to your friends house you could walk to the store, and movie theatre. Everyone was as happy as they could be. Soon it was the girls birthday, turning 10 she celebrated inviting all her friends. Everything was going fine until the dark cloud cover the sun, and the bad news spilled out. They were moving, were would they go now, there would be no country that would ever be like Egypt.
So here I am. In Canada. I never thought that I would land up here, neither did my brother. But yes for some reason I am here. It took me a while to adapt to this alien world, yes everything was so different. The fist day of class was a disaster, I started of being completely lost, wondering around the big school looking for my homeroom. Yes finally I found it, rushing to the door a teacher walked by with a cup of coffee and BOOM, the coffee was on the floor, and so was the teacher. Stumbling I backed up saying sorry for about 100 times, until I disappeared behind the class room door. Thinking that was about the worst it would get, but I was wrong. As I stumbled into class it was all eyes on me. My number one, had a stain of coffee on it and my glasses were crooked. Great I thoughed to myself, the first day of school and you have a coffee stain on you shirt. Finally it was break time, I rushed outside not knowing that this was snack time and not lunch. Eating up all my lunch not noticing that everyone was looking at me strangely. I came to class late because my watch still had the Egyptian time on it, it took me a while till I realized that I was the only one in the playground. The teacher did no look happy about me being late for my first class. I was lost in class, not even knowing if I was in Socials or science. Soon the teacher said " ok and remember to bring that book in for next class" What book, I was freaking out I didn't want to ask the teacher because it would just show that I wasn't listening, so here I was everybody rushing up to lunch and I was glued to my seat, trying to figure out what book the teacher was talking about. At last the teacher said " you can go off to lunch now" It took me a while to realize that I was in Canada in school. I hurried to my locker, which was patiently waiting for me. Yes I thought to myself I have finally something to look forward too...my lunch. I was hungrily fussing threw my bag, when a little voice inside my head said. You already had your lunch. A shiver went down my spine as I thought to myself, you are doomed. I was dead hungry when I reached the playground, my legs were shivering as the cold air, made me choke. Than this girl came up to me .She had short hair and asked if I wanted to eat with her. I was happy to have made a friend.
You might wonder how I have survived grade 5, but somehow I managed to whisper my self through the never ending classes. And yes I do sometimes mess up, I say rubber instead of eraser and I pronounce salmon with the letter L. Now I look back at the years that have passes and I cant afford but to laugh.
